use a crowbar or a jack handle to screw in the auger.  They are readily
available, tougher than a screwdriver and less expensive than a screwdriver,
rebar is designed to be bent and will handle onl small augers. Willis 'Cookie'

Light duty ones might be found at Ralph's Electronic Supply on Telephone road
North of Airport. Heavier ones are used to tie down trailers and such. They
should not need to have more than one flight on the auger. Do NOT use a
screwdriver to screw it into the ground. Use a piece of #3 rebar unless you
have a long heavy duty screwdriver you may end up sacrificing.  73 ... Scott

Subject: [BVARC] Guy line anchors - Local source?  Hello all,  I'm looking for
a local source for light guy line anchors. These look to be about 12" to 18"
long with loop on one end for the guy line and what looks like a soil sampling
screw on the other.  Does anyone know if these can be had locally?  Thanks in
advance.  73, Rob, KC5RET
