Allen,

HMMM... I can see where this might be of benefit when operating satellite
because we are often rovers.

Summer Contest )

This is what I found out about N1MM and Rover Mode. I got the following
answers from two of the developers of N1MM:

1.:
Allen,

Yes, see:

Does N1MM support Rover modes in VHF contests? I don't do them but a friend
of mine insists that he heard from another that N1MM does not support Rover
moves, therefore he will stick with N3FJP. I told him I would find out for
sure.

Yes it does. See

.
The provision for setting your Rover's grid square after you move is on
the right-click menu. It's pretty straightforward.

But will it support ROVERS .... ROVERS ... ROVERS ... ? I don't give a hoot
if it supports the contest.

If it doesn't support ROVERS ... and I have been told that it DOES NOT it
won't support me if I'm a rover in the contest and its WORTHLESS to me. Is
all I'm saying and I'll keep using N3FJP although I am interested in
RoverLog.

it will not support rover operation in those contests. In VHF & UHF
contests every time a rover moves from one grid to another you can work
stations over again like they are NEW contact. That's where most logging
programs fail and will show those contacts as dupes and not count them.

The highest governmental "authority" in America is its Constitution.
