I tried to check simple things since I am unable to reproduce it. But, indeed, nothing really came from there.


While it is impossible to be sure where exactly the bug lies, it sure
looks as if exim had another pretty bad bug in a release. The diff
doesn't show much information since it's mostly pointless churn.

They did change some things in TLS, but there is not enough info in the changelog to say what really changed and why.


I think it is about time to seriously consider removing exim from the
ports tree for good.

I must admit Peter's config is simple enough to be migrated to opensmtpd quite easily.
