Agreed in principle, but I checked now to see if there were any existing
tests to add this to and it seems like -U isn't covered by any tests
yet. It would be weird to add a test for this special case without
having a test that the basic functionality works. I might try to come up
with test cases for that when I have some more free time.
Also, judging from the code, -U is not the only option that's broken.
Figuring out what broke in which cases might be tricky, especially when
other options are also not covered by tests, but it seems to me like
that should be included too.
