Hi. Your gparted is compiled and linked against libparted version 1.6.21 which is old and this problem has been corrected for some time ago according to http://gnu.org/software/parted/faq.html. Please update to a version of gparted linked against an up to date version of libparted. Alternatively you can test out the gparted livecd, http://gparted.sourceforge.net/livecd.php, which I believe should be fully up to date. BR Håkon Løvdal
