I ran gparted in kubuntu booted in safe mode, and got the following
messages:
A bug has been detected in GNU parted. Please email a bug report to
bug-parted@gnu.org containing the version (1.6.21) and the following
message:Assertion ((C * heads + H) * sectors + S == A) at
../../libparted/disk_dos.c:586 in function probe_partition_for_geom()
failed.
