Dear Sir/Madame,
I've not yet got the newest (1.6.25) version, but I've found the
1.6.24-4 of libparted in the debian unstable repository and I've run it
(with the corresponding version 0.4.5-1 of qtparted):
no chanche! Same message of error. Please read it below:

(1.6.24) and the following message:Assertion (disk != NULL) at
../../libparted/disk.c:1073 in function ped_disk_next_partition() failed.

Please, may you tell me where I can find the newest version?
If the newest version too will give me the same message, I'll provide a
more detailed description of the situation, as suggested by one of you.
