Hi Suresh. There are many outstanding issues but nothing jumps out at me at the moment. I'm currently working on two things: memory usage in make (as more inclusive make systems are developed, this is becoming more of an issue), and integration with Guile as a scripting language. I'm also doing some work with controlling output of make (verbosity levels, debugging, etc.) You can try looking through the Savannah site at the bugs and support requests, etc. there and see if anything strikes you as interesting to work on. One thing that would be nice is for someone to put some love into the test suite; not even so much writing new tests as fixing the infrastructure of the test suite itself. I don't know if you're a Perl person or not but that's an opportunity (or integrating with some other existing test infrastructure, I don't know). If you pick something let me know so we don't get duplicate efforts. Cheers! -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Paul D.
