Dear Jean,

I am to new to Lilypond and can not decide if and how much the German version is outdated or not. But beside this the main problem is that the docu has bugs because the examples producing errors.

A long time ago, it was decided to omit the braces
sometimes because that would make the examples shorter.
I very much agree that this was a bad idea, and it is
not done in newer documentation material, but the choice
was not mine. This would need someone volunteering to
write a script to move away from this practice systematically.

But I do not want to argue here because it is not my project. I just tried to improve the project with givin my point of view as a user. The docu does not help a new user if she/he is not able to simply copy and paste the code to play around and becoming warm with the Lilypond syntax.

Thanks for the feedback. I agree that this is not ideal,
but getting rid of it is not completely trivial (and
as far as I am personally concerned, I'm swamped in other
stuff).

Best,
Jean
