In Notation Manual, section 1.1.2 Changing multiple pitches in the subsection 
"Octave checks" at the end, above "see also" add a new paragraph:

Another way of ensuring that a note is at the correct octave is to use the 
\resetRelativeOctave pitch command. This is similar to the \octaveChack command 
but resets the pitch without generating an error message.


An addition to the index entry to \resetRelativeOctave will also be needed.
