Hi James, see this page for the Unofficial MusicXML test suite: http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.18/input/regression/musicxml/collated-files At the very bottom, there is a link to the bug-lilypond mailing list for reporting bugs, so I used it.
Details to the bug: In the file 01b-Pitches-Intervals.xml (the MusicXML file within the ZIP archive) there is just a single measure, while the lilypond output produces 41 measures, which is correct because of the time signature. But the input file is not correct, and should also contain 41 measures.
