James, Andreas is right. 01b-Pitches-Intervals.xml was not correct. musicxml2ly is very tolerant here so the error doesn’t show in the pdf. I * added missing <measure> elements * fixed a typo in the title * added missing <accidental> elements (They represent the actual notated accidentals. Without these elements there shouldn’t be any visible accidentals. So this is actually a bug in musicxml2ly. The bug doesn’t show here because musicxml2ly interprets the <alter> element which represents the sounding pitch of a note.)
You can see the difference when you compare the old and the new version of 01b-Pitches-Intervals.xml with Finale NotePad. hth patrick On 24.06.2014, at 23:39, James <pkx1...@gmail.com> wrote: > On 24/06/14 22:09, Andreas Wenger wrote: >> In the Unofficial MusicXML test suite, 01b-Pitches-Intervals.xml contains >> only a single measure in MusicXML, but there should be 41. >> >> >> _______________________________________________ >> bug-lilypond mailing list >> bug-lilypond@gnu.org >> https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-lilypond > Hello, > > I don't know what these statements means or how it is relevant to LilyPond. > > I am checking the regression tests and for instance in this case here > '01b-Pitches ...'
