It looks like ther's one change in the windows installer required, one change in a scheme file (in the bin folder) required, and one change in another scheme file (in the scm folder) is strongly recommended. These changes would make point-and-click working out of the box after the windows installation (using lilypad), and defining the environment variable LYEDITOR will choose another editor.
