Well, the name "Karin" could be either male or female -- but on the scorio "about us" page, I see that she is indeed female. And wrote a thesis on "Feature modelling for machine-based learning of musical styles", and has a couple of academic papers in music technology, mostly from 2001/2002. I stand corrected.
