It would be very easy to switch that around. I don't have access to the Sacred Harp to look at this in multiple cases. Does the orientation of the strong lines in the mi head depend on whether the stem is up or down?

I based the mi head on a sample of Aiken notation that was made in Finale. It had the strong lines in the
orientation I wrote.

How can we determine which to do? I guess the Sacred Harp is a standard that we ought to follow, but what about Aiken? Do we need two different mi heads, one for Sacred Harp and one for Aiken?
