New issue 939 by percival.music.ca: shared location for included docs http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=939 I'm getting tired of things like Documentation/web/basic-authors.itexi; all the itexi files that are included in multiple manuals should go in a shared location. 1) clean up documentation/included/. Let's stick the headwords in lsr/new/ (somebody can add them LSR actual later). Figure out if those lbook* files are used at all; it not, remove them. For any other ly files... could they be moved to lsr/new/ ? If not, why not? etc. 2) Move all the */basic-* files into documentation/included. BTW, we need to be absolutely certain that everything compiles after each step. Don't start on #2 until #1 is completely finished, tested, and pushed. maybe rename the files as well; the "basic-" portion doesn't make sense. 3) Add another file for the screenshot-tutorials from learning/tutorial.itexi. Make macros for those tutorials. Should the macros include the "other commands" sections? I'd say no, but that's debatable.
