oops... Pressed the wrong button. I meant to add: I'm pretty sure that this reproduces the previous behaviour for RIGHT edges, and adds the same capabilities for LEFT. Redundant computation is carried out for LEFT if it's == 0, but I figured that it shouldn't be too onerous... Is a patch just the output of diff -u? I'm on a windows box at the moment and can't play with diff.
