Thanks for the bug reports, but in the future please include an example
which is as small as possible -- ie

}
(I don't know if this demonstrates the tie problem; it's just an example
of a small example, which is _much_ more useful to us in bug-hunting)
the same holds for your Figured bass problems, btw.
