It should. I'm tweaking the mailing list to forward this to bug-hurd (who know more about Debian GNU/Hurd). What hardware are you using? As far as I know, the T60, X200, T400, and T500 are the latest Intel machines that will have working ethernet on bare metal (though rumpnet is coming). I personally use a T43. This wiki page does warn that the stable installer (2023 images) currently does not boot correctly on the X200, T400, and T500. But you should be able to install the Hurd via CrossInstall https://darnassus.sceen.net/~hurd-web/faq/drivers/ https://darnassus.sceen.net/~hurd-web/hurd/running/debian/CrossInstall/ Also, fair warning, if you want to use X, then you cannot use libreboot at the moment.
