Thanks this helped.

But I am still confused by:
[3] https://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/ports/hurd-i386/current/
which first is different than the previously kept [2] link,
but also because the file 
https://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/ports/hurd-i386/current/debian-hurd-20190705.img
 and others compressed versions,
have been written on 2020-09-17... which make me ask myself if this is really 
the 20190705 version... which would not exactly be the current version.
That said, this [3] has kind a more complete directory structure: cd, dvd (3 
dvd whre [2] had just one).

I have no real opinion on how (delete one of the two... keep both) it should be 
fixed.
Just if you choose to keep 
https://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/ports/hurd-i386/current/debian-hurd-20190705.img
 somehow it should be updated to:
at least the 2020-07-31 version of 
http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/ports/latest/hurd-i386/current/
... I think.
