Hi,
I think the two facts are related. If you look at the original
screeshot, you can notice that it is running "run-parts" on
zz-update-grub, I gather that gnumach is only the parameter.
If you need any more information, just ask.

I got the mail, yes. I haven't had the time to analyze deeply, just

termination fails to remove a pmap entry.

Also, currently I still need to use a GRUB
floppy, since it fails to install grub
That should be reported too, otherwise it has zero chance of being
fixed.
