Patch #406 has been updated. Project: Category: None Status: Closed Summary: A small clean up of vmstat
Follow-Ups: Date: Thu 07/31/03 at 22:44 By: marcus Comment: I am not sure what the problem is with the current code. In your mail you said that vmstat wouldn't report your memory size correctly, but it might have reported correctly the available memory, ie the physical memory minus the reserved memory. Is this what we are talking about? ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Sun 08/03/03 at 16:15 By: marcus Comment: James wrote: It seems I was confused when I sent this patch. I figured vmstat should actually show the memory that the system has as opposed to the memory the system has available for user space processes. This means the changes to get_size and to the Makefile (which apparently I didn't attach) are not useful. This leaves the changes to use memset, which are fine. It also leaves changes some 0 values to -1. I can't see my logic for this. ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Sun 08/03/03 at 16:20 By: marcus Comment: I committed the bzero changes and dropped the rest. Thanks for the patch. ------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------- For more info, visit: http://savannah.gnu.org/patch/?func=detailpatch&patch_id=406&group_id=30 _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/ _______________________________________________ Bug-hurd mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-hurd
