'proc' fails on startup when compiled with gcc-2.95.2, either natively or
cross-compiled. Replacing it with one cross compiled from egcs-1.1.2
gives me a full-functioning system (I don't have to recompile any of the
support libraries).
After the GNUMach bit, I get the following:
Hurd server bootstrap: ext2fs.static[hd0s6] exec init proc
auth/hurd/init: Crashing system; proc server died during bootstrap
init: rebooting Mach (flags 0x1000)...
panic: Debugger invoked, but there isn't one!
I am using GNUMach from Marcus' grand tarball.
I compiled my libc from a CVS snapshot yesterday.
I compiled my hurd from a CVS snapshot yesterday.
The system functioned with the libc before the hurd `make install'. This
has been reproducable for about the last month and a bit, however, so I
don't beleive this to be from a recent change.
Any other useful info I can give?
