fine by me, this just requires a change to the build script then? the binding in crc.c has #ifdefs around it already > So this would be removed. ok, so we just need crc pclmul to be explicitly flagged on by a downstream maintainer to make it work? I'll look into how to make that work > Add yourself as maintainer of the new module please :) I can't commit to being a maintainer, but I can commit to being available for a few months in the case of any bugs arising. My goal here is improving the speed of gzip, would it be a better bet to work directly with them to get it included there?
