Sorry, what's the gettext <libintl.h>? I just now built and installed gettext-0.18.2 on Solaris 11, and it didn't have or install a libintl.h. There is a system libintl.h, but it includes only <sys/isa_defs.h>. If that <libintl.h> is left over from some old gettext installation, maybe you can upgrade to gettext 0.18.2 and remove the old libintl.h.
