Yes, that's right. I took a quick look at the preprocessed output but it's not obvious what the problem is. The new problem you found looks like it may be something that AC_HEADER_TIME might fix. But to be honest this will require digging into it. It's been a long time since I had access to those obsolete platforms (even my last Solaris 8 production host bit the dust a few months ago) so I'm afraid that you'll have to do more of the digging; it doesn't appear to be something that I can easily do remotely.
