Ironic that someone who's spilled so much text about the importance
of clear communication is now blaming a reader for misunderstanding
an unclear sentence.

It's unfortunate, but no one is obligated to agree with an assertion
or accept a proposal just because it took a lot of time.  That's the
way this works, even though it doesn't feel nice sometimes.
