Hi Knud,

thanks for using GNU APL. GNU APL defaults to standard xterm ESC sequences for colors.

These sequences can be configured by the user without recompiling GNU APL
in one of the the preferences file (usually /usr/local/etc/gnu-apl.d/preferences
and/or $HOME/.config/gnu-apl/preferences) on GNU/Linux; search for:

CIN-SEQUENCE / COUT-SEQUENCE  / CERR-SEQUENCE ...

See README-5-WINDOWS for some hints as to install under CYGWIN,
Pretty much the same as for GNU/LINUX. I.e. compile and install from source.

Best Regards,
Jürgen

Hello,

The colors of the output are not readable
out of the box when running it e.g. in
console cmd.exe on Microsoft Windows 10.

Current workaround:

 1. -Keep pressing many times <ENTER> until the color changes to grey

 2. -Then type your APL commands

 3. -When finished, mark/select that text, it will then change color so it might be visible
