Both logs are showing: [brltty] server: command 00002204 -> client code 0000000000000027 0*2204 is the brltty command that represents pressing just dot 3. 0*27 is the brlapi command that represents an ISO Latin1 apostrophe. So, based on these logs, it looks like it should be working.
