Hi,

Thanks for the answer. I investigated some more, although I couldn't find how to turn logging in Orca. I tried to see the key bindings that existed and I saw them in the Orca preferences. Pan to the right and pan to the left with the Braille display (along with using the routing keys) would be more than enough as far as I'm concerned, but nothing works as is. The key bindings are defined, though. I tried to reassign them, but when I press a key on my Braille display, it is not interpreted at all as a new binding.

On the other hand, I can use the FN+H to go into the BRLTTY help menu, edit the preferences with FN+P and so on. I really wonder whether it's a BRLTTY issue or an orca one. Even though I don't really see why it would be a lack of information on the part of BRLTTY.

Absolutely. When I move the system cursor using tab or the arrow keys, say,

You should be able to use braille display keys to move the window at least to
some extent, e.g., left and right.

Orca uses brlapi to connect to the running BRLTTY process. It then interprets
certain BRLTTY commands that are generated by pressing keys on the braille
device. When last I looked, those commands are generic, e.g., to move the
window left/right or to the top/bottom, rather than specific to your braille
device.

My suggestion is to turn on logging in Orca and try to capture what it's
receiving from BRLTTY, if you think it is not working as it ought to be.
