Indeed. Could you do lsusb both before and after running brltty in
order to
verify if Linux is seeing the device in both cases? You're looking for
a vendor
ID of 045E and a product ID of 960A.
Let me install lsusb and try that out. I don't have USB-utils installed;
maybe that's part of the problem. I also didn't install libusb, which
probably also didn't help the situation. Up until recently, all my
braille displays have been serial, which is natively supported (though
for how much longer remains to be seen.)
However, as a side note, I tried connected the Braille Sense U-2 Mini to
Debian, with similar results--that is to say, none at all.
