Well actually 40-usb-brltty.rules is how I name it in the brltty package for Slint/Slackware. In the source archive it's Autostart/Udev/udev.rules I package it this way: cat Autostart/Udev/udev.rules > $PKG/lib/udev/rules.d/40-usb-brltty.rules (sorry for the useless use of cat, I will correct that). Maybe ask the Debian packager to just to install it? I would be a bit surprised that it be not done yet though, as Debian is known to support brltty since a long time.
