  OK Dave I think I understand. But waht shall we do ? Do you
  mind thath it is a probelm of cable as Samuel suggested ? So
  first change de the cable ... second test on another machine
  in case the problem comes from some plug on the computer or
  something deeper. Third bring this Braille Sense back to the
  one who sold it to be tested ....
