I guess your problems come from your way to log into your laptop, or do I missunderstand something?

I guess the one of brltty? I think that's a bit difficault, since a lot of locales exist with two or more possible languages (for example think of India); how to implement such a script? If no table is specified, brltty starts always with the US table. BTW.: I found that there is no Dutch table; such a table would perhaps better fit for the Netherlands and the Flemish part of belgium.
