The problems I see with Microsoft have nothing to
do with the sort of behavior you allege. They really
are problems with capitalism itself

thanks for that analysis, nick. i am not a techi, but i
understood the gist. all i know about bill gates is
what i have heard, mostly negative.
not sure waht you mean about--
-- a feedback-based market can't self-regulate
goods and services that violate the law of diminishing
returns, a/k/a network effects.
