They had been foreshadowing just about every detail throughout the season. At some point or another it was made explicit. You knew Hiro would be *The* Hero, almost certain to be the one to dispose of Sylar. Peter was the bomb and they had been telling us this since the cheerleader was saved. Niki's involvement with Linderman since episode 1 had to be decisive in some way or it would have been pointless. There were clues everywhere. Frex: Charles Devareaux was a dreamwalker and we knew this beforehand. >From the first episodes Peter was using his power in his dreams of flight. It was fairly clear what was happening in the episode where Devereaux dies. In the climax Peter uses that power once again. Heh! And who was surprised that Nathan would be the one to save NYC? It was obvious early on that Nathan loved his brother and would never willingly desert him. The climax was a bit anti-climactic. I would have been happy to have been surprised a bit more. > > > >> > And, while "Heroes" and "24" aired in the same time slot on >> > Monday >> > evenings, it might be interesting to find out how many folks >> > either >> > watched one and taped (or otherwise recorded) the other or >> > watched >> > it >> > on-line (both shows were available that way). I'm thinking that for many Heroes was new and different and that even for fans 24 had become somewhat formulaic. At least that is how I was hearing things around mid-season. I pretty much dropped out of forums discussing Heroes around that time. xponent 9th Wonders Maru rob _______________________________________________ http://www.mccmedia.com/mailman/listinfo/brin-l
