Do we really know that logic has evolutionary advantages over emotion? I imagine that perhaps the mix of the two has advantages over either one, given that's how things have turned out so far. And we have quite a variety of dominance throughout the human population and among cultures, nations and other subgroups. It isn't sensible or kind to compare logic and emotion!
