Doc says that Tommy appears to have a virus. Antibiotics are *not* in order at all (which is just as well, I'd worry about how his stomach would take it). We need to monitor his temperature and bring him bck tomorrow if it's too high. Doc is also very pleased that Tommy's weight was up to 18 lbs. when he was weighed there this morning.

I'm glad to hear that it's something conventional. I've been following your news of Tommy with perhaps a little more interest than most -- you may know that we lost our first son in 1995 to brain cancer, so I'm especially sensitive to parents with sick babies.

There are good moments and bad moments. We're getting more good moments this week.
That is good to hear. Me, I have decided that if John is upto handling the middle-of-the-night
vomitting and diarrhoea, it is almost a good moment......

Ah, if anyone else can handle vomiting, that's always good. :)

Well, that one brings back memories -- one of the first symptoms of Kevin's tumor was lots and lots of vomiting, so we had *way* too much experience with that over the six months of his illness.

Peace and rest to you, and keep us posted, please.
