From the WBNS website:
On Friday morning, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers projected that Delaware Lake will crest 1.5 feet below the maximum level. No flooding is anticipated along the Olentangy River, either. People living downstream had been preparing for the worst, in case water levels at the dam reach a critical point. But with no more rain expected, those who were voluntarily evacuated were told they could return home. "Forty hours ago, it appeared that we might face the worst flooding that the Olentangy Valley has seen in decades. We are very happy that the waters are subsiding, and we appreciate the cooperation that citizens have displayed during this very serious situation," Larry Fisher, Delaware County Emergency Services Supervisor, said. - jmh Glad Maru _______________________________________________ http://www.mccmedia.com/mailman/listinfo/brin-l
