Yes, I'm sorry I've been delinquent. I've had a bad cold - still have it in fact, and I had internet problems over the WE. I could be working on a response now, of course, but then I'd have to leave this discussion alone.

At any rate, I find it has hardly been established that there somehow exists a universal "right" to marry a person of the same sex.


No, but there seems to be a right to marry and the state should be as blind as is practicable to a persons physical attributes.
