Gays are free to marry but the disabled are NOT...
Did you know that in America if you are disabled and have to live on SSI,,, you can
not get married and pull your own weight and continue to collect your income... The
govenment wont let disabled people collect their SSI if they get married... NO,,, they
are then a ward of their husband or wife because the government will take away the
disabled persons income if there is a spouse whom makes a income living in their
home...
Any one who is disabled in America and has to live on SSI,,, can not increase their
income by doing anything to suppliment their income, because their income is penalized
and took away if they add to their income and they lose their food stamps and medicaid
also,,, if they try to go to work and they are disabled they lose their disability
income,,,if they leese a room in their home they are breaking the household income
rules,,,and if they get married or accept and gifts of money they are penalized
also....
The disabled in America are given rules that they must do in order to receive their
SSI income and if they do anything the government will not allow or that might change
your requirements to recieve income, the disabled wont have any support at all...! The
Government keeps disabled people living in a nightmare and wants to force all disabled
people into a government wheelchair rental housing facility and force them all to
remain single or they take away their income...!
I am a christian and I am disabled,,, I dated and almost got married,,, my boyfriend
and i knew that if I got married I would lose my income because the Government would
have based our household income on his income,,, Luckely I found out he was abusive
and did not move in nor marry him,,, or I would have lost not only my income, and
foodstamps and medicaid,,, but I would have also lost my hime as well...I no longer
even date because I am a christian and believe in Marriage,,, yet I know if i ever get
married or live with anyone who makes an income, I will lose my only income which is
SSI because I AM DISABLED...! Living on SSI is a nightmare of living extremly below
the poverty level and I would be penalized if I do anything to increase my income...!
