Gilmore's story about getting kicked off the plane for wearing the
"Suspected Terrorist" button was on top of the various blog measurement
systems over the last couple of days. In other words, lots and lots of
people read about it shortly after Gilmore blogged it.
The free speech implications of that incident bother me quite a bit.
And I'm not comfortable with the government telling anyone, "You're
violating a secret rule." It was funny in Animal House ("double-secret
probation") but not so much in real life.
