The only country music I like is pre-Hank: Texas swing and older music like that featured on "Oh Brother Where Art Thou."
Yeah, the "old-timey" music in _Oh Brother_ was great; mostly bluegrass, but some stuff that really is more country than anything. I really haven't heard much Texas swing, but what I *have* heard of it sounds to my ear like it has more in common with swing and blues than with country. Does that sound like the Texas swing you've heard?
