I can add a few. Their easy chairs are at the Smithsonian (Edith and
Archie's -- I saw 'em.) I know that they supposedly lived in Glendale,
Queens. The first toilet flush on TV was heard on AitF. There were two
other shows other than the ones you mentioned (Jeffersons and ABP) that
spun off from AitF: Gloria and Good Times.
True!! And let's not forget cousin "Maude", the lovely Bea Arthur, who was introduced in AitF's second season. "God will get you for that, Walter". :)

It's incredible how Bea Arthur got away with playing two characters with basically the same traits (Maude and Dorothy in "Golden Girls") for nearly 20 years with such a huge success. And she does it sooo well. The reruns of "Golden Girls" is the only reason why I watch Lifetime, I have to admit.

Another favorite of mine, from the current crop, is "Drew Carey Show". Well.. my favorite is not Carey, although his life is a rather accurate portrayal of an "everyguy", as he calls it in his website. Okay, I'll come clean.. I have such a CRUSH on Christa Miller ("Kate"). Hey, a guy is entitled to a daydream every once in a while!!! Now, if there's anybody out there who knows somebody who knows somebody who knows Christa, and is holding back, NOW is the time to spill your guts. ;-)
