Farscape is *awesome*. I watched season 1 on BBC2, enthralled, but lost track in season 2 (I'd just fallen in love, etc). Then my hubbie's friend bought season 1 on DVD, which I considered a big waste of money, and he got send two sets, so he sold us one for half price, and we watched it and got totally hooked! We borrowed season 2 off him and I ended up buying season 3 myself as we'd missed it on TV. We just finished watching that, and season 4 is currently showing on the Beeb so I've been taping it on VCR, we're gonna start watching that starting tonight. Screen quality doesn't compare to DVD and we'll be missing all the extras, but I can't possibly wait for it to come out on DVD! It has to be THE best scifi series ever. So far. :)) As writer David Kemper says in the fun interview at the end of DVD season 3, the secret of their success is they're really a comedy show mascarading as action scifi. Though it's tough to beat Red Dwarf in the scifi humor (TV) stakes. ;)
