you can contact the Museum of Appalachia in Norris, TN:

John Rice Irwin is the founder and is a real promoter of old time music.
They have a wonderful "homecoming" the first weekend of october every year, music on 5 stages all day.  We saw John Hartford, Mac Wiseman and even Janette Carter once.  If you have never been you have missed an event of a lifetime.  Ralph & CMB are there most every year - I actually had the extreme pleasure to meet him about 3 years ago when he was getting off the bus just before their appearance.  (Probably scared him to death - sorry Mr. Stanley.  I'm the crazy girl in the yellow rain poncho.)

Anyway, they always have a great turnout - bring your own lawn chair.  It's 4 or 5 days and you can buy a ticket for one day or all of it.  The museum is open all year and it's focus is on music.  They have live music in one of the cabins every day.  It's a great place.  We have been going for years.

The address is P.O. Box 1189, Norris TN  37828
