Dear Renee:

SORRY if I worried you gal! Dr. Bradley and I have "arrived" in Pigeon Forge,
Tennessee, we're about 1/8 mile from the front entrance of Dollywood just off
the Parkway at the 1st traffic light in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee! Everyone has
a standing invitation to visit us here. We wound up renting a house, about
half the size of the one we'd purchased in Waikanae, New Zealand. We looked
for 4 months, & this was the best we could do! The house is small, but new.
I'm quite well, Ed is practicing medicine again, making people better which is
what he does best.

Please do not be concerned at all-but thanks for your concern! I'm trying to
get 358 boxes of our household goods unpacked, sorted, what goes into storage
repacked & put into storage, & the rest put away in our house-(since our house
is smaller here & we hope to build a house we're here for a year or 2 until we
get to know this area-IT'S TOURIST HELL!!! WE'VE DIED & GONE TO TOURIST
HELL!!!!). In 4 moves (2 of them international moves) in 6 years, we've yet to
get all the unpacking service we pay for from movers-particularly on an
international move. I'm working against a deadline-we have only 30 days after
delivery of our household & worldly goods to file a claim for damages with the
international insurance firm we bought coverage from so that if any of our
things were damaged, they'd have to replace them. This is our worse move yet
from a damaged goods standpoint-we have had more damaged things this time than
ever before. It's so disheartening to look through everything you own in the
world & find out that people packed your things so hastily & badly that they
arrived ruined. Some things you just cannot replace.

Anyway, that's what I'm doing. I can't do it all alone, my neck & back aren't
good now, so I've got 4 others helping me & it must be done by August 6 for
insurance purposes. SO--I'm alive & well, just trying to "dig out" of all
these darned boxes of stuff!

Hope you are all well & having a great summer!

Keep loving b luegrass & gospel music, it's the best music in the world!

Cordially your friend,

Doris
