Nope, can't say I have ever had the pleasure of playing the banjer. Can't afford one let alone find anyone to teach me. But I love to finger pick! So, I've had to make do with my classical guitar, on which I've strayed from Fernando Sor to study the intricacies of Bluegrass guitar. Love those G runs. I only wish I could find some folks in my area that were interested in forming a folk group that played bluegrass and Irish folk. Ahh well, might have to move! And hey, I'm not that young. I'd say 25 is a decent age. Been all over in my short time.
