I remember an East Kentucky based bluegrass group called Outdoor Plumbing. Gary Fitzpatrick (an outstanding musician in all respects) played mandolin for the group. I'm not sure of there present status, this was mainly during the 1980's that I remember.
What a name though huh? I remember thinking that it must have been a group of guys who worked together at a plumbing company who started a group, but they really just came up with that name out of the clear blue sky.
I know Gary Fitzpatrick has recently played with the bluegrass Gospel group Providence. The man can play anything with strings and makes it looks so easy.

On the Live at McClure CD there is a group call the Outdoor Plumbing. They performed East Virginia Blues. Can anyone give any background on this group? I would like to know a little bit more about them.
