Hi Heather, You're right that the original developer for the Hearthstone mod stopped working on it about a year ago. There was talk about Blizzard adding native accessibility, but nothing has happened on that front yet. However the original developer of the mod handed the work he'd done on the mod to a new group of developers who now maintain and keep the hearthstone access mod up to date. I actually haven't heard of anyone having trouble with the mod for a long time now, in fact I'd go as far as to say the hearthstone mod is pretty seamless and works incredibly well. I think I'd actually go as far as to say it's probably one of the best mod's I've played of any game.
I have heard of the world of war craft mod, but haven't played it , so not sure how good it is, but I've definitely heard of people using it. I have heard that the person doing the Hearthstone mod couldn't keep up with Blizzind's updates. So Blizzard supposedly took over accessibility a while ago. From what I've seen on YouTube, though, it's hit-and-miss whether the game will play well with a user's computer. I've also heard of a mod that makes World Of Warcraft at least somewhat accessible. Especially the classic version, since it's easier to navigate; this according to the YouTuber Abbyforth.
